Tips for Woodworking
Special care should be taken as your kids work with the tools used in the arts and crafts projects. The seriousness of the injuries that these tools can imbibe should be conveyed to the kids without scaring them off. They need to understand that the tools being used are not play tools but real ones. High power drilling machines shouldn’t be used. Kids too young to have a stable hand must not be allowed to handle the drill or at least a parent could hold their hands initially while they are handling it. Kids should be made to use gloves and put on safety glasses for protection. It is advisable to keep a first aid kit nearby lest some injuries take place.
