More "Friends, Friends, and More Friends!"

"Friendship is the allay of our sorrows, the ease of our passions, the discharge of our oppression, the sanctuary of our calamities, the counselor of our doubts, the clarity of our minds, the emission of our thoughts, the exercise and improvement of what we dedicate." --Jeremy Taylor

Friendship is such an important facet to life. Nobody would want to live a life of total solitude, because everyone needs at least one person to at least talk to now and then. Even in the famous Tom Hanks movie, "Castaway," he painted a face on a soccer ball and called him Wilson, just so he would have someone to talk to. This wasn't meant to be comical, it was meant to show that people need to have interaction with others. This is how the character in the movie helped to keep his sanity.

"The worst solitude is to be destitute of sincere friendship." --Francis Bacon

"Of all the things which wisdom provides to make life entirely happy, much the greatest is the possession of friendship." -- Epicurus

If you have even one or two friends...then that is a lot to be thankful for...money problems, medical problems, and other annoyances in life will "come and go." At least you have your friends, and that's a great thing!

"One loyal friend is worth ten thousand relatives." -- Euripides
